Name Bubbles is now offering wall decals along with their wide assortment of personalized labels, bag tags and wristbands. The Peanuts wall decals are Halloween-themed and come in 4 different sets. Choose from Mummy Snoopy, Pumpkin Snoopy, Vampire Snoopy and the Peanuts Gang in Costume. Each set can be personalized with copy inscribed on the moon. Name Bubbles sent me the Mummy Snoopy decals to review.
My set arrived in less than a week. It was well packaged to protect against damage and being folded. There are four sheets of about 14″ x 17″ decals. The material is a sticky-backed fabric. The pieces peel very well and are easy to replace on the sheets for multi-year use. The packaging makes it effortless to store flat, which will make re-application a breeze.
Installation was quick and simple. The top decal has instructions on use. Basically, just clean the wall with a dry cloth and get started! I started with one smaller decal, just to get the feel of it. The size of the decals are very manageable, even the larger ones. I placed all the larger decals to get them in place and then filled in with the smaller ghosts and bats.
A few items to note when installing. The moon is in two pieces. I can’t even tell now that it’s on the wall. It was easy to get the positioning just right since the pieces are easy to remove and adjust as needed. Even when they’re on top of another decal, there isn’t a problem with moving them. The second item to note with installation is to have a scissor handy. Because of the woven fabric nature of the decals, the occasional thread will need a tiny snip. It didn’t pose a problem. When removing decals, I would start at the edges just to loosen them from the backing and checking for any threads. It was only about three or four threads out of all the decals. Not a problem, just something to watch for.
How fool-proof is it? I didn’t have any problems with installation, but I know they can happen. I tried sticking two sticky backs together and didn’t have a problem pulling them apart. My wall is full of old plaster patches and cannot be described as smooth. Luckily, the wall decals are sticking really well. I also have a very furry dog, but any stray hairs were easy to pluck off the back before applying.
All in all, it took about 20 minutes to put up the decals. It was easy to just jump right in since it’s so simple to tweak the positioning. The Name Bubbles wall decals are fun to use, include lots of decals, and are a quick way to decorate for Halloween! I love that I can use them year after year!
