Small Carryall in Snoopy Patchwork
Nothing makes my day like a new handbag. However, the new Peanuts X LeSportsac bags I received made my week! Not only are the bags covered with Snoopy and Woodstock comic strip panels, but the quality and attention to details are just wonderful. I’ll be showing you the Essential Backpack and the Small Carryall styles in the Snoopy Patchwork design. The LeSportsac Small Carryall is a terrific everyday purse. The zip top keeps all your precious cargo safe. The bottom of the bag is padded to cushion your valuables. Inside you’ll find four pockets, three open top and one zippered. The purse opens nice and wide to find just what you’re looking for. The outside also has two open top pockets, perfect for a bottle of water. The bag has a detachable, adjustable shoulder strap and two shorter handles on the top. I love the size of this bag, not too big, not too small.
Essential Backpack in Snoopy Patchwork
The LeSportsac Essential Backpack can carry just about anything, including a laptop! The double-zip main compartment opens wide for easy access to the three pockets inside. There is one large pocket for notebooks and laptops, plus two smaller pockets, one with a zipper. The outside has two open top pockets, perfect for water bottles, plus a large zippered pocket in front. The straps are padded and adjustable. The black bottom of this bag says “go anywhere” since it won’t show the dirt from its many travels.
I’m so impressed by the little details of these bags. The main zipper pull is Snoopy shaped. You’ll find a little Snoopy tag affixed to the outside of the bag, too. The Snoopy Patchwork pattern is my favorite for its vintage feel from the old newspaper look which recreates the colors and the “mistakes” of the offset printer. The other designs in the series are worth considering, too! The “Snoopy Daisy” pattern creates a subtle feminine feel with a ditsy print featuring Snoopy, Woodstock and happy daisies. Snoopy’s familiar silhouette creates the pattern on red, black or blue for the “Snoopy Dot” pattern. Coordinate with all the patterns with the “Snoopy Graphics” designs which uses larger graphics on select bag styles. The designs are fresh and original, while keeping in step with other Peanuts memorabilia. I love these fun designs that aren’t too cutesy, child-like or girly. Perfect for any Peanuts fan!
Beyond the Snoopy graphics, these are well made bags. As a sewist, I’m always looking for items made just right! The material is lightweight, yet is very rugged and seems easy to clean. The stitching is neat and precise, done with thick thread. The straps and other hard-wearing areas are reinforced for longevity. Overall, these bags are very lightweight and durable, which is always a concern when carrying a load. Their impressive number of organizational pockets is what I seek out when purchasing handbags. The outer pockets for water bottles is just what I need when going to flea market to look for Peanuts collectibles. I only wish I could afford to buy them all!
